ClinNEXUS is a business-to-business healthcare care coordination services company. Our core patient care coordination activities are conducted through secure, internal systems and not through the Website. All information collected and stored by us as part of these activities or added through these sources is considered Protected Health Information (“PHI“) and/or medical information and is governed by applicable state and federal laws that apply to that information, for example the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). To the extent we collect, use, maintain, or disclose information in connection with those services on behalf of, or under business associate agreements with, health plans, health care providers, health information exchanges, and other covered entities, that information is governed by HIPAA and the applicable covered entity’s notice of privacy practices, and not by this Privacy Notice. We will not use or disclose information collected as part of those services or from your provider for advertising or marketing except as otherwise permitted by HIPAA and other applicable law. We will not sell any PHI in violation of HIPAA.

ClinNEXUS sends recurring care coordination SMS messages through its proprietary platform and not through the Website. The following applies to our SMS messaging program:
With your consent, we collect your mobile phone number and any other information you choose to provide. We may also collect the date, time, and content of your messages. We use this information specifically to communicate with you regarding the programs you have joined. This information will NOT be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
By providing your mobile telephone number and opting in to receive text messages from ClinNEXUS, you consent to receive recurring SMS and MMS messages from ClinNEXUS related to the care coordination programs in which you are enrolled. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving any goods or services from ClinNEXUS. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us, and you can get more help by replying HELP.

8. Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information.
We do not control the collection and use of your information collected by third parties described above in Disclosure of Your Information. When possible, these organizations are under contractual obligations to use this data only for providing the services to us and to maintain this information strictly confidential.
